Closing the gap: Developing the use of seasonal forecast products and climate observations by operational users in West Africa

The workshop is intended to discuss the needs of decision makers from climate sensitive sectors, how climate information can be tailored to their needs and the identification of gaps.

Spaces are limited between 30 and 40 and therefore we would like to attract decision makers along with climate scientists and others who have direct experience working with decision makers from climate sensitive sectors.

Applicants are requested to submit a brief statement (no more than 300 words) as to their background and experience in the above areas to Alexandre Gagnon (a.gagnon @ liverpool.ac.uk).
